Power Cut Ready (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Basic server logs (common to most websites): your IP address, device/browser information, pages requested, and timestamps. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
• Affiliate link clicks: when you click an outbound affiliate link, the destination retailer may set cookies or similar tracking to attribute a purchase. We do not receive your payment details.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects anonymous data including pages visited, time on page, approximate location (country/region level), device type, and traffic source. This data is processed by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

GA4 uses cookies to distinguish visitors and track sessions. The cookies set are _ga (expires 2 years), _ga_SKX1R3XZSQ (expires 2 years), and _gid (expires 24 hours). No personally identifiable information is collected — IP addresses are anonymised by default in GA4.

GA4 only loads after you accept cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

To opt out at any time, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or clear your cookies and decline on next visit.

When you click an affiliate link, Amazon may set cookies to track purchases for commission purposes, governed by Amazon's Cookie Notice. We earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.
